.US Domain. It Worths A Lot

.US Domain. It Worths A Lot

We like .US domain name and we have good reasons for this. It has been officially released for registration in 2002, the time where American consumers were not able to find good vacant com, net, org. As U.S. entity Host Color has always been a promoter .US domain.

Free .US

Other web hosts promote “”Free Domain for Life”, but miss to say “as long as you are customer of ours”. We say that it is an honor for us to pay for your American domain. We will pay it’s annual registration fees as long as you are customer of ours. We would love to grant .US for life to you, but will not be fair to say that, becase, web addresses (domains) are more service based on subscription than a product anyone can buy by paying one time fee.

Please note that any web hosting customer of Host Color who signs up or renew their service plan on  September 17 and September 18 can get .US domain name for free.

This is our way to honor US “Citizenship Day”. You can read about this American holiday on Citizenship Day Patriotism.org’s website. I’ll only add that it is also know as Constitution Day and it is celebrated to mark the anniversary of the ratification of the U.S. Constitution.  Citizenship Day is one of the newest federal holidays. It was passed by Congress in 2004.

Why Host Color Honors Citizenship Day by Giving .US Domains to Customers?

Although our company has been founded by non-US citizens, its owners and leaders share the values of American society and American entrepreneurship. Our feeling for United States and American tradition of freedom is very strong. That’s why we have decided to make a giveaway to our American hosting customers. We sure realize that a free .US domain to their web hosting services is just a small gesture.

Please note that we do not to explore the .US giveaway as a commercial tool to boost our sales. We aim to say to our American customers that they have a good reason to use .US as their web address and want to encourage them to do so. That’s why we will not charge them for their choice to us .US as their website’s primary domain name.

I would like to say that any national TLD is more than domain name and more than a website. It shows people’s appreciation to their national identity. 2008 is a tough year for Americans. But I think that at the same time this is very important year for America (not because of the elections). It is an year in which Unites States shall pass through many difficulty and to keep their leadership as economic power and as a country that has an ability to spread its values around the world. And finally, I believe that U.S. are a country which deserve to be honored by its citizens.
