Those of you who read our blog regularly have probably seen the title “It Pays“. It tops an article which presents Host Color’s Affiliate Program, a money-making tool, that is quite unique in web hosting industry. Why?
I’m sure that you all know how affiliate programs work. Let me share something that you haven’t probably thought about. When you act as web host’s affiliate you place provider’s banners or text links on your website and receive money if any of your visitors decides to buy a hosting service or products from this company. You get paid only if your visitors buy.
In all other cases you get nothing from web hosting provider. At the same time the web host you are affiliated with is not paying for website promotion and for advertising their services and products.

What Host Color Does For Affiliates?
Host Color organizes the business relationship with affiliates in a far different way, and gives them more opportunities to earn money. Our affiliate program is based on “Cost Per Influence” model. This means that the more quality traffic (uniques targeted visitors) you send, the more money you get.
Each affiliate of Host Color is eligible to join both our CPA (Cost Per Action program, which pays commission per each sale an affiliate makes for us) and to our CPC (Cost Per Click program that adds Reward Points for each unique visitor sent to our pages) programs.
Our commission per sale is 25% of the first payment, which any customer referred from our affiliates makes on Host Color’s website. Unlike other web hosts that sell cheap shared hosting, Host Color allows affiliates to promote VPS Hosting and Dedicated Hosting services. This means that our affiliates can make $99.75 per sale when refer someone who signs up for a premier Dedicated Hosting plan.
But this is only the first side of our affiliate program. What makes it unique is that Host Color pays affiliates for each unique visitor they send to our pages.
If you have a blog related to web design, hosting, SEO and other IT stuff and you decide to place a banner of Host Color as our affiliate we give you an CPC click-through rate between $0.01 and $0.25 per unique visitor (unique click). Do not get discouraged of the price $0.01. It applies to non-targeted websites. Most of our affiliates get click-through rate higher than $0.05 per unique visitor.
So when an affiliate of ours sends 20 daily unique visitors to Host Color and have click-through rate of $0.10/click, they get $60.00 month without even making a single sale. If there is a sale on the affiliate’s account we add the money earned from CPC to the CPA commission. So at the end of the month you will always get money from Host Color.
An average affiliate of ours makes at least one sale and when they get CPC commissions their average monthly income goes above $120.
Easy To Use, Friendly Affiliate Management System

The section “Affiliate Data”, which displays on the left side of the affiliate account shows the affiliate ID, the URL, total number of visitors sent by affiliate websites, the number of unique visitors and the total number of sales made by account holder.
Below are “Affiliate Report” and “Banners”. On the rights side affiliates have sections “Tip of the Day”, “Account Settings”, and also can see the profile of the customer care operator who is serving them.
